In Bloggers League, the fantasy football league with fellow bloggers, I made a trade with Clark, owner of Dallas Philly Eagle Cowboys (and also writer of basketballonmymind.wordpress.com) where he sent me Reggie Bush in exchange for struggling running back Knowshon Moreno. What do you think of this trade?
Reggie Bush may not get many carries in Miami, but I think he'll make the most of his limited time on the field.
Analysis:
This is a trade for an underperforming running back for a sort of underperforming running back. Moreno is quickly losing carries to Willis McGahee, and Reggie Bush has upside now that he’s in Miami BUT he did flop last week.
Analysis:
This is a no win/no-lose kind of trade. I think that Reggie Bush has a better chance of doing damage this year, because Knowshon Moreno has been banged up and also has lost his job to Willis McGahee. Reggie Bush might not get many carries behind Daniel Thomas, but he’s a dynamic back and a change-of-pace type of guy. I’d say this is a potential win.

OK, you think you ripped me off, but really you didn’t. No offense, but you just lost by 50 points. I didn’t need Reggie and he doesn’t get a lot of carries. Once, they start playing Moreno he will have more points than Bush. Even though, Bush is one of my favorite teams.
First of all Clark, I didn’t say anything about ripping you off. Second of all, I don’t think I ripped you off. Just look at the last few paragraphs. I know you don’t need Reggie. I wanted to get a game-changer, and I think Reggie is more of one than Knowshon, who is the better RB BUT has lost his job and is injured frequently. Also, I’m not sure Knowshon will get many carries this whole season.
